Sylvia took everything romance readers love about the nice guy, boy next door, complete sweetheart and stuffed him into a hot hockey player with talented hands and a filthy mind. Call it win/win!! Where is a magic wand when you need one, pixie dust, a blue fairy &ndash; something to bring a character like Roscoe to life! Oh well &ndash; one can dream. Big Hard Stick by Sylvia Pierce

While I didn&rsquo;t like this one as much as the first or the third, I did enjoy the best friends to lovers story of Bex and Henny. I think my reserve for this book is that we never really got to the root of the problem for Henny. Add in Henny&rsquo;s bad boy reputation and his inability to take things seriously and you just don&rsquo;t know how to feel towards his character. Down to Puck by Sylvia Pierce

While some may consider this to be a holiday romance (taking place in November and wrapping up on Christmas Day), the focus is primarily on the hate-lust relationship between Eva Bradshaw and Walker Dunn.
