Full honesty - wasn't really a fan of this book initially. Having read the traditional formula of rom coms, Kinsella's style/approach was unexpectantly different but I am glad I read it to the end. This book had more heart than romance.

Normally I don&rsquo;t read the next book in a series right away but the prologue for this book was so good (she included it in book 1) that I HAD to know what happened! I swear I felt like I stepped into an episode of Grey&rsquo;s Anatomy (back when it was REALLY good!) While Dr. Harley is a standalone book, I highly recommend reading Book 1 first! The two overlap when she is in the &ldquo;present&rdquo; and while you get brief character introductions, you won&rsquo;t feel nearly as connected with this wonderful bunch of characters if you don&rsquo;t read the first book. Don&rsquo;t get me wrong &ndash; I love reading romantic comedies!&nbsp;While&nbsp;I enjoy the swooniness (not a real word but go with it) of a romance, let&rsquo;s face it &ndash; the trope formulas get repetitive. What sets them apart for me is the comedic aspect. I love to laugh and when I find a romantic comedy that can give me the feels but keeps me in stitches, I have found my new home. The Art of Falling in Love was just that. It&rsquo;s not tears down your face, holding your side hilarious but it is a funny, short and sweet, feel good read. One word &ndash; Wow! That is how I would describe Knight: City of Sisterly Love. From the back cover summary and the cover of the book, I wasn&rsquo;t sure what to expect. As I am not really a romantic drama type person, I normally shy away from that genre. This, however, was categorized as a romantic comedy so I thought I would keep an open mind (you never know). I can&rsquo;t even begin to describe how loudly I laughed through most of this book! Now don&rsquo;t get me wrong, there is suspense and drama but it wasn&rsquo;t all encompassing. This book played my heart like a fiddle. Again, I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I blushed (and trust me, I did that last one a lot!). This is my first book by Jasmine Guillory and I was pleasantly surprised with how sweet and entertaining it was. While I am not yet convinced to read the entire six book series, I definitely want to check out book #2 and book #3 (especially since I was suspicious about two certain people and book #3 confirms my suspicion. Shockingly Funny &ndash; I get it now! This book had me in hysterics at the beginning. I laughed so hard during the first two chapters my sides hurt. As a first time reader of Melanie Summers, I wasn&rsquo;t sure if I would like a royalty themed book. Yes, I enjoyed the Eldovia series by Jenny Holiday immensely but I was cautiously optimistic with this one. Prince Arthur won me over before I even got past the first page! I love reading a book where the female lead (in this case &ndash; Violet) is someone I would hang out with in real life! This book was just fun and being inside Violet&rsquo;s head kept me in stitches. As I haven&rsquo;t read anything by Cathryn Fox before, I wasn&rsquo;t sure what to expect &ndash; especially when this book kept comparing itself to Crazy Rich Asians. I am so excited to say it did not disappoint! My first firefighter romance coupled with the first time I have read anything by Mariah Ankenman, I can honestly say she has a new fan! Even though this is a standalone, it throws back to the previous two books and hints that whatever is between Diaz and Ward has been brewing for awhile. I digested this entire book in a day, I just couldn&rsquo;t put it down. There is so much humor that I can&rsquo;t remember not laughing! A love triangle for the ages, Miss Indecisive is a light-hearted romantic comedy that follows the tale of a fifth grade teacher who is just looking for love. As this was my first love triangle, I didn&rsquo;t know what to expect but was definitely not ready for the emotional ride it took me on! For those who love to travel, are wine connoisseurs, or just love to live vicariously through characters, Whitney paints a phenomenal picture of some of the most extraordinary places around the world within a beautiful story that is so realistic, you almost wonder how much of it is truly fiction and not Whitney retelling her own story (hint &ndash; read her bio).
