On Thin Ice (Book #2 of the Lakeshore U Series) by LA Cotton

Skipping over the expected praise of this wonderful series (as I enjoyed the second book as much as the first), there is too much redundancy and reiteration when Cotton is trying to be ominous, especially in the middle chapters. I feel like it is done for length, but the story would still be just as strong if it was reduced by 50 to 100 pages. While I don’t believe it is that excessive, it does unnecessarily extend the story.
