I will be honest, I wanted to love this book because I loved the first one so much and read the second to see where the story was going. The third book was just too predictable. Instead of being pulled into the story, it was a bunch of "Yeah - saw that coming" until the very last page. Disappointed.

Book #1 left you on one heck of a cliffhanger! I will say this (without giving anything away), what goes up must come down and boy does it come down on Tess. These books are not standalone and while they try to give a fairly decent recap, I highly recommend reading them in order.
