Unlike the first book, this one was pretty straightforward. Acting as somewhat of a continuation, we follow Kendall and Ryan to the cabin as they set up for Cameron and Elijah&rsquo;s honeymoon. Same premise as before: they are unexpectedly snowed in and have to make do until they are able to leave the cabin.

The Best of Us (Book #2 of the Love in Isolation Series) by Kennedy Fox

I always have to remind myself that Tessa&rsquo;s books start off slow but end strong. Initially, I was worried about this one&mdash;it just couldn&rsquo;t hold my attention. There were simply too many subplots to follow: the rivalry between the mothers, Beat and Melody&rsquo;s past and present, the reunion, and the blackmail. Shame on me for underestimating Tessa&rsquo;s talent for weaving an incredible story.

Wreck the Halls by Tessa Bailey 

While it is a standalone story, Snowed In takes place a little over two years after Holiday Romance. Keeping the same snappy dialogue and Walsh wit, Snowed In takes us back to the small town we fell in love with before, reintroduces us to the Fitzpatrick clan, and shows us that with a little Christmas magic, anything is possible. I will warn you, read Holiday Romance first; otherwise, you will have spoilers and may not understand the story of Andrew and Molly that continues in Snowed In.

I will be honest, I wanted to love this book because I loved the first one so much and read the second to see where the story was going. The third book was just too predictable. Instead of being pulled into the story, it was a bunch of "Yeah - saw that coming" until the very last page. Disappointed.
