I would say if I had to pick my two favorite books in this series, Cocky Bastard would be #1 and this one would be #2. This book was absolutely hilarious! Dex&rsquo;s spiral of deception to get the girl knew no bounds! The fact that he was threatened by himself (or rather his alter ego Jay) and what he endured to keep up the lie made the first quarter of the book go by in a flash.

Mister Moneybags (Book 6 of the Series of Standalone Novels) by VI Keeland and Penelope Ward 

This book was fun because I thought I had it figured out, then it tricked me, then it allowed me a Chandler Bing &ldquo;I knew it!&rdquo; moment. This was a wonderful way to wrap up the series and while it was a bit of a stretch, our boy Chance made one final appearance. I always enjoy &ldquo;broken hearts healing one another&rdquo; stories and this was that.

I will be honest, I didn&rsquo;t care for this one as much as I enjoyed Cocky Baster and Stuck-up Suit. Like Playboy Pilot, I felt the story was a little more far-fetched (yes&hellip; I am aware this is fiction) and the plot seemed to jump around at times. I couldn&rsquo;t tell if I was reading the next day, weeks ahead, or where they were in the overall timeline.

While the dual POV helped, I couldn&rsquo;t get a true lock on Bridget&rsquo;s personality. I did enjoy Simon&rsquo;s back story and Bridget&rsquo;s friend Calliope (although I felt like her part could have been bigger overall &ndash; she was a great addition to move the story forward).&nbsp;

British Bedmate by VI Keeland and Penelope Ward

I will say first and foremost, ignore the cover (it will make more sense once you read the book). This book held my attention from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down! I want to say I giggled, even chuckled, but no - I had outright belly laughs! Lots of fun to read. Check it out.

I am so in love with this series! What I adore the most is that while these books are hot/steamy and a lot of fun, they have so much heart! Each one has the stereotypical bad boy that is full of himself but secretly has a heart of gold. The women do change; however, from the sweet princess, to the firecracker, to the out of touch rich female protagonist. No matter the combination, a random event brings the two characters together in such a cataclysmic manner that you can&rsquo;t help but be intrigued. Playboy Pilot not being an exception to this established trend.
