There All Along by Kaz Rymarz
Samantha James is stressed. Everyday pressures are piling up. Expensive house repairs, an expanding waistline and a non-existent love life are starting to weigh her down. Runaway donkeys, an obnoxious fitness instructor, and a ridiculously oversized penguin costume aren’t exactly helping either.
Sam’s biggest concern, however, is Green Meadow Hospice where she works as the fundraising manager. Nestled in the picture perfect village of Butterford, the hospice is in financial trouble and facing imminent closure. On top of this, Sam’s faltering relationship with Ross Carrington, Green Meadow’s newest volunteer and the man of her dreams, is more stop than start.
Green Meadow holds a special place in Sam’s heart and she is as dedicated to its survival as she is to sparking romance between her and Ross. Determined to keep her beloved hospice doors open, Sam refuses to give up. But, with her campaign efforts falling short of the funds the hospice desperately needs, and Ross’ mixed signals leaving her in a constant state of confusion, she isn’t sure any of her endeavours will succeed.
Sam's going to need the support of her friends, family, and the community she's always found in the hospice, and can only hope that it's enough.
