In Him, we focused on Wes&rsquo;s struggle with his unrequited love for Jamie and Jamie trying to understand his new feelings for Wes. In Us, we finally to get to see these two together but we also get a reality check of what life will be like for an up and coming Rookie hiding his sexuality.

I am so in love with Imogen Grace! Sure, the story was great, but that little girl had my heart the moment she came on scene! The almost ending had me in tears. Part of me expected it, but I wasn&rsquo;t prepared for the resolution. Having read all of the books in the series, I couldn&rsquo;t tell which one was my favorite, until now. Hands down, this one blew them all out of the water. It had laughter, drama, suspense, and so much heart.

Beneath the Ice (Book #3 of the Lakeshore U Series) by LA Cotton 

Skipping over the expected praise of this wonderful series (as I enjoyed the second book as much as the first), there is too much redundancy and reiteration when Cotton is trying to be ominous, especially in the middle chapters. I feel like it is done for length, but the story would still be just as strong if it was reduced by 50 to 100 pages. While I don&rsquo;t believe it is that excessive, it does unnecessarily extend the story.

As a huge fan of Elle Kennedy&rsquo;s contemporary hockey romances, it was a delight to discover that &ldquo;Body Check&rdquo; was not just her first contemporary romance, but also her first hockey romance&mdash;where it all began. Although &ldquo;Body Check&rdquo; is currently a standalone, the material is ripe for additional books, even 15 years later! While I&rsquo;m not certain how the original book fared, this extended version with added content and sporadic rewrites is definitely the Elle Kennedy we know and love!

Body Check by Elle Kennedy 

You may want to stock up on &ldquo;Awws&rdquo; because you are definitely going to need them. This book is adorably cute, sweet, and swoon-worthy. From Kip and Scott&rsquo;s meet-cute, to watching them fall for each other, to the most inspiring ending, I enjoyed every single moment. For those who like a balance of happiness and drama, you&rsquo;ll find light sprinkles but nothing earth-shattering or suspenseful. What you will find are some of the hottest MM romance scenes I have read in a while. I definitely applaud Rachel for some sweat-inducing, collar-pulling moments!

Game Changer (Book #1 of the Game Changers Series) by Rachel Reid

While I want to say I loved this story, one thing that bothered me was the speed and intensity of Bree and Stefan&rsquo;s relationship&mdash;it felt too unrealistic, even for a fictional story. The growth of their relationship lacked depth, and the storyline was so fixated on Bree&rsquo;s lie that we, as readers, were essentially told to trust that they cared deeply for each other, with the true bonding apparently happening off-page.

Introducing my new book boyfriend&mdash;Max from &ldquo;The Summer Proposal&rdquo; was an absolute dream. The book starts off strong with him posing as Georgia&rsquo;s blind date, Adam. He is sweet, charismatic, and a self-professed Star Wars geek&mdash;complete with a little Yoda in his pocket. How could you not love him? The fact that he&rsquo;s a high-profile hockey star who is also sweet and humble is just too much to bear.&nbsp;

The Summer Proposal by Vi Keeland

I don&rsquo;t know which aspect of this book I loved more: the dual POV that revealed both characters were crazy about each other from the start, leading to the disaster that was their attempt to hide their feelings; the bromance and antics of the team players (I laughed so hard at one point, I had to reread it because I was convinced it couldn&rsquo;t be that funny&mdash;it was!); or the rich tapestry of main and secondary characters that made up this wonderful book.

The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams

I knew I would love this story after I was introduced to Piper and Aiden in the prequel, &ldquo;Countdown to a Kiss.&rdquo; Piper is no-nonsense, fiery, and gives Aiden a run for his money. I love how she is determined to stand her ground, to not be just another stereotypical puck bunny chasing a hockey player, and doesn&rsquo;t hold back her words.

In Book 2, they attempt to move beyond their previous issues, aiming to restore their friendship. However, their efforts go up in smoke when Brendan asks Laura for an extremely inappropriate favor due to past circumstances: act as his girlfriend so he can maintain custody of his daughter. Laura, still carrying strong feelings for Brendan, resists the idea. Four books in and I&rsquo;ve come to recognize two consistent elements in Lili&rsquo;s narrative: 1) her fondness for plots driven by miscommunication, and 2) her skill in crafting lovable, tough athletes who excel on the ice but struggle immensely with expressing their emotions or showing a hint of vulnerability. A perfect example is Petrov, who has harbored feelings for Amanda since their one-night stand. When Amanda re-enters his life for Diana and Tanner&rsquo;s impromptu wedding, Petrov finds himself captivated by her yet again, however, he is&nbsp; unprepared for the &lsquo;bundle of surprise&rsquo; she brings along.

Ok first I have to warn you that there is a very detailed, cringe-worthy injury in this book. No one warned me and I was not prepared for it so consider yourself on notice! Other than that, this book is absolutely perfect for those who are either really into the dom/sub scene or those who are completely clueless and with the knowledge dropped between these pages, will definitely know if they want to take the path of further exploration or can give a resounding &ldquo;No thanks!&rdquo; with the utmost confidence.

In Us and Good Boy, we are introduced to Matt Eriksson as he is one of Wes&rsquo;s team mates. We hang out with him when he finds out his wife is filing for divorce. We catch up with him again at the bachelor party where he is still bitter but trying to make the best of it.&nbsp;

In Stay, we jump eighteen months into the future where his life consists of co-parentings his twin girls, hockey, and having the chaos he calls his every day managed by a woman with the initials HTE through a company called Fetch. He owes his sanity to &ldquo;HTE&rdquo;. She helped furnish his apartment, found a walker for his dog, and has taken care of just about ever need he has had. It doesn&rsquo;t help that one of the mystery dog walkers looks a lot like the owner Hailey on the cover of the website. Is it is fault that her initials sound a lot like &ldquo;Hottie&rdquo;?&nbsp;

I was willing to take bets on how soon these two would kill each other! The aerial yoga in the middle of the living room, the pig with a vendetta, and the tension between Diana and Tanner that could melt polar ice caps (not to mention the forbidden element as she was his captain&rsquo;s sister!) Tanner was an absolute dream and should win an Olympic Gold Medal for his self-control efforts!

As much as I loved Challenge, Endurance was a little harder to fall into. I think it was because the intensity in Challenge was the complete opposite of the insanity in Endurance. Belle and Tanner were a lot, and that&rsquo;s putting it mildly.

Wildcat by Rebecca Jenshak

It has taken me FOREVER to write this review and it still feels like I just finished this book yesterday. The layers upon layers between Nate and Anastasia burrow so deep into your psyche that you find yourself thinking about scenes long after you close the book. If you are a fan of Elle Kennedy and have finished the Off-Campus Series - consider this a second helping (yes, I am aware of the Briar U Spin-off).

Big Hard Stick by Sylvia Pierce

While I didn&rsquo;t like this one as much as the first or the third, I did enjoy the best friends to lovers story of Bex and Henny. I think my reserve for this book is that we never really got to the root of the problem for Henny. Add in Henny&rsquo;s bad boy reputation and his inability to take things seriously and you just don&rsquo;t know how to feel towards his character.
